Album amicorum of Johann Ulrich Höcklin, 1564-1574.

Many entries, often accompanied with coats-of-arms, were written at Tübingen, suggesting that the contributors may have been fellow students and occasionally teachers of Johannes Huldericus (or, Udalricus) Höcklin von (or, à) Steineck who matriculated at the University there, April 17, 1564. Other entries were made at Dola, Besançon and Paris. Among the contributors are Friedrich I, duke of Würtemberg, Melchior Sebisch, Felix Platter, Julius Pflug, Georg Otto, Nicolaus Varnbüler, and Johann Jacob Grynaeus. Printed illustrations, some colored in.
